WEEKLY POLL (MARCH 26 - APRIL 1): Would You Like to See a Vance / Nikki Pairing?

This past week on Y&R, Vance & Nikki shared a more-than-friendly lunch together at Gloworm. Nikki may have had ulterior motives in using Vance to make Deacon jealous, but she seemed intrigued by him and Vance definitely seemed to show some interest in her, too. Should these two have some more lunch dates together and see where things go? What do you think? WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE A VANCE / NIKKI PAIRING?
- Would you absolutely want to see this pairing if it means Eric Roberts (Vance) stays at Y&R on a more permanent basis?
- Would you like to see a pairing between them because you really enjoyed their scenes together and think they'd make a good match?
- Would you rather see Nikki with Deacon?
- Maybe you'd rather see Nikki reunite with Victor again?
- Or would you rather see both Vance and Nikki with other new prospects?
- Maybe you don't know yet and would need to see more of them together?

VOTE NOW (in the top-right corner of the Blog) and then leave a comment here or on the link to the poll on the Crimson Lights Facebook profile to let us know how you voted and why!
Be sure to check back next Saturday for the results -- and be sure to tune into Y&R next week to see if these two potential lovebirds re-connect!

POLL RESULTS from WEEK of MARCH 19-25!

6% Also voted that they were undecided on who should get the two cosmetic companies, but I forgot to include their votes in the final 'Poll Results' photo (above)

WEEKLY POLL (MARCH 19-25)! Who Should Get Beauty of Nature and Jabot?

Tucker has been playing Jack and Victoria against each other in a race to see who can acquire Beauty of Nature -- the prize? Jabot! When Katherine learned of what Tucker has been up to for months, she was not happy at all with her son for fueling the fiery battle that has been brewing amongst some of her closest friends for months. And no one can count Victor out -- especially when he feels he's been wronged! Might the Black Knight get his revenge by finding a way to take over Jabot and merging it with Beauty of Nature himself?! What do you think? WHO SHOULD GET BEAUTY OF NATURE AND JABOT?
- Would you like to see Jack get it because he finally deserves to have a win against The Mustache?
- Would you like to see Victoria get it because she would do a great job with the companies?
- Would you like to see Katherine blindside them all and get her revenge on Tucker by acquiring both companies for herself?!
- Would you like to see Victor exact his revenge by acquiring Jabot and merging it with Beauty of Nature himself?!
- Should Tucker just rescind his offer to stop the battle so he can make Katherine happy?
- Or are you undecided on who you want to see win this latest battle between the rival families?

CASTING NEWS: What's Old Is New Again! Noah Is Un-Recast!

On March 11, Keving Schmidt (ex-Noah, Y&R) curiously wrote on Facebook, "Spent this morning in a familiar place my friends! Felt nice to be visiting. More details to come!"

Three days later, soap columnist Nelson Branco posted on www.tvguide.ca that a Y&R role was recast with his predecessor.

Now, the show has confirmed that Kevin Schmidt will reprise the role of Noah Newman, replacing Luke Kleintank, who had started only last September. Schmidt first airs April 14.

WEEKLY POLL (MARCH 12-18): Would You Like to See a Neil/Leslie Pairing?

Earlier this week, Neil tried to suppress his feelings for Sofia by almost going to bed with Leslie. Although Neil realized he was with Leslie for the wrong reasons and put the brakes on their passionate encounter before it went too far, many fans saw great potential for these two characters and are clamoring for a pairing of the two -- some even saying that this could be the first good pairing for Neil since Dru died and the writers shouldn't pass up this great opportunity! What do you think? WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE A NEIL/LESLIE PAIRING?
- Would you like to see them together because you thought they had great chemistry and both characters are in need of a good storyline?
- Did you not like their scenes and there is no way you'd want to see them together?
- Do you not want them together because you'd rather see Neil with Sofia?
- Or are you just not sure yet and you'll need to see more of them together?

VOTE NOW (in the top-right corner of the Blog) and then leave a comment here or on the link to the poll on the Crimson Lights Facebook profile to let us know how you voted and why!
Be sure to check back next Saturday for the results... and be sure to tune into Y&R next week to see what drama unfolds next with Malcolm/Sofia/Neil/Leslie!

CASTING NEWS! Kin Shriner Temporarily Replacing Ted Shackelford (Jeff)!

The Young & the Restless has announced that Kin Shriner (ex-Scotty, GH) will temporarily replace Ted Shackelford in the role of Jeffrey Bardwell. No reason was given for the sudden re-casting except that Shackelford "is not available" for the episodes that will air in late April.

Shriner, who will be reunited with former GH co-star Judith Chapman (Gloria, Y&R: ex-Ginny, GH), previously played Harrison Bartlett on Y&R for several months in 2004.

BREAKING NEWS: Judith Chapman Dropped to Recurring Status

After six years with The Young and the Restless, the show has apparently run out of story ideas for Judith Chapman's (Gloria Fisher) alter ego. The actress has been taken off contract with the top-rated CBS soap.

CBS Soaps In Depth first reported on Chapman's new status with Y&R, and some fans feared that they would no longer see the actress mixing it up in Genoa City. However, as the magazine duly noted, being placed on recurring status is not that unusual in daytime. Many of Chapman's Y&R co-stars have had a very successful run on the show as recurring players.

Chapman is expected to remain a part of the Y&R cast, making appearances as dictated by storyline.

WEEKLY POLL (MARCH 5-11)! Will Victor Finally Start to Fix His Broken Family?

This past Friday after reading Billy's touching yet painful tribute to his own father, John, that also pointed out all the flaws Victor has as a father, Victor was moved -- and was even more moved after hearing a distraught Sharon crying to Nicholas about her fears of going to prison and missing Faith growing up. He was so moved, in fact, that he decided he was going to go see the D.A. and confess everything he knows about Sharon and Skye's feud on the volcano in Hawaii -- even if it meant his actions might cause him to lose the lawsuit against Victoria, Nick, and Abby! This is definitely not the Victor we have seen on-screen in months, and it appears that he may finally have had his eyes opened and he is going to start making amends and begin to fix his broken family. What do you think? WILL VICTOR FINALLY START TO FIX HIS BROKEN FAMILY?
Do you think there is no way he will do that because he is too stubborn and their family is beyond fixing anyway?
Do you think that, yes, his eyes have been opened and he is going to start to fix things with his family?
Or do you feel that it is too hard too guess what Victor's motives are and even if he tries to help, he'll probably end up screwing things up somehow anyway?!
VOTE NOW (in the top right corner of the Blog) and then leave a comment here or on the link to the poll on the Crimson Lights Facebook profile to let us know who you voted and why!
Be sure to check back next Saturday for the results! And be sure to tune into Y&R next week to see if Victor really goes through with his plans to start fixing things for Sharon.. and who else in his family he might try to fix things with next!
